M.E.D.® Motorsports Extrication Device
Purpose-built for motorsport rescue.

Originally designed by the Canadian Motorsports Response Team, the M.E.D.® Board is a lightweight carbon-fibre extrication device developed specifically for the confined and demanding environment of motorsport rescue. Its thin profile allows rescuers to position the device between a driver and racing seat to assist with safe and efficient removal following an incident.
 

Designed for the Track

At just 7 mm thick and 700 grams, the M.E.D.® Board combines a narrow profile with strong, rigid carbon-fibre construction. Its design allows it to be maneuvered into position within confined or compromised vehicle cockpits.
 

Designed for Rescue
The M.E.D.® Board incorporates colour-coded straps with quick-release buckles, large hand openings for gloved operation, replaceable straps and head-restraint components. Its finished surface is also designed to allow cleaning and disinfection following contamination. MED Brochure Current
